Alberto Migliucci is the founder and CEO of Petra Commodities Asia, a boutique investment advisory firm that specialises in natural resources, mining and energy with access to capital through a network of private family offices, funds, investors and high net worth individuals.

Migliucci was formerly an investment banker, with senior roles at Credit Suisse as Managing Director, Head of Mining & Metals, Head of Energy for Asia based out of Singapore; and Managing Director, Global Energy Group. At Credit Suisse he “led the firm to the number one position in advisory league tables in Asia 2008-2013” (source: Forbes).

Previously, Migliucci headed Standard Bank’s Energy & Mining Finance team in Asia, as well as holding senior banking roles at Société Générale (Hong Kong), Westpac and Sumitomo Bank of Japan.

Prior to his banking career, Migliucci worked as a geologist, combining both technical and financial experience Migliucci has stitched together “over US$150 billion in related energy and resources deals globally” (source: Forbes).

Migliucci holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology) with First Class Honors, University of New South Wales and a Master of Applied Finance, Macquarie University (Sydney).
