Scott Caithness is an exploration geologist with over 40yrs experience in multi-commodity mineral exploration at senior management, executive committee and board levels across Australia, Asia, Africa, South America and the Pacific. Former roles include Director Exploration for Hindustan Zinc and the Vedanta group based in India, co-founder and MD of Indian Pacific Resources (now Akora Resources (ASX: AKO)) exploring for iron ore in Madagascar, Exploration Manager for Indophil Resources focused on copper and gold in the Philippines, Austrade Senior Trade Commissioner to Malaysia & Brunei based in Kuala Lumpur and Exploration Manager, CRA Exploration (now Rio Tinto Exploration). Scott spent the first 18 years of his career with CRA Exploration which included Country Manager roles in Papua New Guinea and India plus new project generation in Vietnam and the Philippines. Scott has a Bachelor of Science (Applied Geology) from RMIT University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
